Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. -Marcel Proust
I can’t help but be excited as soon as the cherry blossoms start to bloom. That is when I run outside any chance I get to enjoy their beauty while they last. Some spring days in New York are still cool and that is when I pull out my trench coats, blazers, dusters and leather jackets. This vintage leather jacket has been in my closet for months, since I purchased it in Amsterdam. It has just been waiting to be worn. But how do you wear a vintage leather jacket from the 80s?
Pleated skirts and sequined boots are the answer. I call this look “Reformed Party Girl turned Housewife”. Covered up and chic, but the rock star in her lives on in the boots and leather. Fashion is so much fun and spring is the time I enjoy it most!
