“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” – Lao Tzu

It is spring, but snow is still on the ground in NYC. It almost feels symbolic for my state of transition. I want to bloom, but certain parts need to be uncovered. There is nothing that you can do but accept the natural state and go with flow. So in transitioning to spring, I wear layers. Think wool sweaters, with light duster coats, white on black, sunny hats with winter boots. All in the hope that spring with unveil itself and I can shed the layers and the weight. Find an airy, breezy, light place in the midst of all the blooming flowers. But until then, enjoying the world as it is, is truly all I can do. Besides, I love this beautiful sweater and my wide brim hat evokes that boho chicness I long for.
