“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” – Β Charles Dickens

Turtleneck Sweater (Uniqlo), Duster (similar), Vest (similar), Jeans (similar), Boots (similar)

March is almost three quarters over and it is still freezing in NYC. Snow, cold and slush are all around us. I want to get rid of my winter wardrobe and showcase all the fun spring stuff I purchased on all my travels. I am not as brave as other bloggers. Bare legs under 65 degrees? No way! I commend them and admire them. But I am Dutch, and as much as I love to look good. Comfort is key.

The turtleneck sweater has become my layering ally. I have a deep love for the turtleneck. Maybe because it’s warm, maybe because it looks cool. Maybe because I hate my neck. I am not sure, but I had a zillion and I will never stop wearing them. They feel like a hug, and I have come to love hugs since my move to the US…
