“Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

Fall is a time of transition and change. After the summer I always feel inspired to take on a new task, change my style, clear my clutter and move into a new part of my life. This fall I feel inspired to get moving a bit. I always enjoyed walking, but biking in NYC was definitely a new thing. I am from the Netherlands and biked their almost all the time. But I have been in NY for almost 6 years now and biking here has always scared me. The traffic, the bad roads, the unfamiliar. But after conquering one of my greatest fears in Chile (more on that soon on the blog), I wanted to conquer the road, biking in NYC.
So in this sporty jumpsuit and armed with my brand new bike, I set up to bike and conquer my fear of the road! And I did it, with success! At first I was extremely nervous. But I kept my cool and stayed focused on enjoying the moment. I am very proud and happy to be riding on the streets of New York and to be active again!
Also you might have noticed that I am rocking the curly hair! After years of straightening my hair with a flat iron, I started rocking my natural curly hair. This is a huge change for me and I am loving it. I will be writing a post about the transformation soon.
I encourage you all to conquer your fears and live life to the fullest!!
